    He looked pretty drained vs Khan. I reckon 154 is a fading dream. He's stuck at 160

    C'mon Alex get real. The ONLY reason Canelo vacated is because in his heart he KNEW he could not beat GGG. I dont think he fully realizes how proud Mexican fans have literally DISOWNED him
    There is no other logical explanation for Canelo's actions. If he fought & lost he'd still be regarded in high esteem If he won he'd be a Mexican HERO!!!!! An ATG for sure
    As for what happens next GGG doesn't need him He'll go for the other belts when he has the all he'll move up & rule @ 168
    Now he has no Bogus belt GGG can tell Canelo to "KISS THIS"
    :good:hi::hi:

    Canelo vacated because he doesn't want to fight GGG next, plain and simple. Any "ongoing negotiations", ignore them, if he wanted to fight GGG he wouldn't have vacated the belt. The fight will not happen now.

    Yeah this is all true for the most part. The problem for little G is Jacobs and Saunders will do nothing for him.

    I agree with the TS.

    No way Alvarez splits 55-45. This will be the biggest payday of his career. He can demand a 20mil guarantee + PPV, and if GGG can get a 5mil guarantee + PPV he'd be crazy not to take it. Alvarez is a much bigger draw, he's looked at as the smaller fighter, and he's a huge underdog. GGG's biggest payday is what, 2mil?

    GBP Position: 25mil purse, 90-10 split, fight at 155
    K2 Position: 25mil purse, 70-30 split, fight at 160
    Logical Compromise: 25mil purse, 80-20 split, fight at 160

    I still think it would be smartest to take BJS first, though. The WBA would allow it since it's a unification, so Jacobs would have to wait. Get all 4 belts while the opportunity is there, then defend against Jacobs and fight Alvarez on Cinco de Mayo weekend 2017 after a solid year of everybody talking about it. Then move up and take care of 168.

    Both camps get what they want: Alvarez gets to prolong his life for another year and GGG gets to unify 160.

    So why does he look like death when he loses albs to get from the supposed MW limit to LMW?

    Face it, he's a legit SMW when he walks around, possibly more.
