Braxton would test him greatly. That's probably a toss up

As far as I was aware on ESB no one beats Marciano. Cruisers, Heavies, Super Heavies, dear old Rocky out works, and eventually pummels them into submission. All down to the super human stamina, and tremendous power, apparently.

Holyfield might do it, Dempsey too. I don't think I'd FAVOUR anybody over Marciano close to his weight.

A tough fight, no doubt but one where Rocky has every advantage, physical and style wise. Going toe-toe with the Rock on the inside should not be the first option in beating him.

Braxton does not beat Marciano. he would give him an interesting fight though., but just be out-powered eventually.

Marciano was not a great fighter, he just achieved greatness.

Marciano only dominated because his best opponents were cruisers..like he was.

Marciano didn't have one punch power, it's just opponents went down before the follow up.

Marciano was poor at cutting off the ring, it's just all his opponents cornered themselves.

Marciano was slow and predictable, but you had to be someplace other than the ring to see his punches coming.

Marciano wasn't a great athlete, he was just in better condition than everyone and could put perform them in an athletic contest.
