Im just not ready to blame Canelo. I see this as a blame for both ggg and saul.

Listen to what you just said. It cost them 2 million (plus Smith's purse) for 300k viewers. Who made money off that fight besides Andre?

GGG costs less, delivers bigger ratings, and is the bigger live draw. He's also easier to deal with.

And yet you wonder why HBO backs him lol. Haymon didn't even want Ward. Think about that for a minute. If GGG became a free agent, how long do you think it'd take him to make a play for Golovkin?

You are correct, Canelo gains a negotiating advantage without the belt holding him to 160. But the question for Team GGG is do they even want the fight now, as they are closer to holding all belts (BJS and Jacobs)? I'm not saying one is better than the other, but I don't think GGG is a money-only kind of guy, who will give up many advantages to Team Alvarez. In the end, I do want to see these two fight, at a 'somewhat' level playing field (whatever that is).

Haymon didn't want Ward because James Prince is his manager and they don't get along it has nothing to do with anything else.:deal If he wasn't with J Prince he would have been signed.

I blame Oscar and GBP more than anybody else. I also blame Canelo for following suit. I cant see any blame to be put on GGG.

And as for Canelo's hand written statement, in Oscars handwriting no doubt, it was just laughable. He wont be forced into the ring by artificial deadlines? What the flying fukk is he on about? He fears no man? Clearly he does.

You're the fool to think Canelo will still be a cash cow after the duck. His A-side time is over. Ducking GGG kills the interest of his manly fan base. He is not Mayweather, mexican fans won't stand for this.

And you're a fool to think GGG will after wining a belt without ever fighting anyone for it. He has **** options. Do you think people are going to buy his PPV fights against fighters no one has heard of like the ones at 160? Hell Lemieux had the biggest following and name and the fight only did 97K in buys. GGG is ****ed himself being a diva and has blown his only shot at a big money PPV fight and a legit name on his resume. But GGG and his fans seem to be happy with it, like he won.:-( Mean while Canelo will good numbers and make a ton of money without him, the same can't be said for GGG.

See this is where the GGG haters/Canelo fans hit the roadblock. Let me explain:

Golovkin and Canelo hold (or held after the WBC strip) MW belts. They are MW. That means, they need to fight at MW. Andre Ward was not a MW, he was a SMW. Therefore, the logical thing to do is meet in the middle (168-160=8, 8/2=4, therefore you meet at 164). This is very elementary and simple to understand. The reason there will not be a catchweight is because they fight in the same division.

I literally cannot explain it any more clear than that. If you don't understand or agree, then there is no point in talking about this.
