i agree with what chitown said...eubank could be a real good fight...but not this soon...i think eubank is a lil too green at the moment....

if lil g knocked out lara it would be no worse than knocking out d wade.....at least people know lara and hes the top ranked guy one division below 160...now stfu because you are worthless

 

even a green eubank jnr is a much better fighter then a 154 lara

You realize GGG is still negotiating with Canelo? Then there's Jacobs mandatory and Saunders.
If by some miracle all 3 fights fall through then maybe Lara could be an option.

I think GGG beats Lara. GGG just sees this as low reward high risk I guess. But I really don't think Lara is a big risk to him. Lara is good but I see GGG overpoweing him, maybe easily.

Lara, if he beats Martiroysan, would be a good opponent for Golovkin but only if he can't get fights with some of the other top middleweights.

Jacobs, Saunders, and Eubank(especially if he traveled for the last two) would be better fights.

I always thought if Lara really wanted Golovkin, and the fight could actually be made, he should have moved up to 160 and try to force the fight.

Since the Alvarez fight nearly two years ago he's won 3 pointless jr middleweight fights. Instead of wasting time with guys like Zaveck and Delvin Rodriguez he could have been at 160 and working his way to a title shot.

Golovkin has multiple titles and someone like Wade was able to become a mandatory. Lara could have become a mandatory or atleast a top middleweight contender if he really wanted a shot at Golovkin but instead chose to spend the last 2 years at 154 fighting mismatches outside of the Martiroysan rematch.

 

Lara gets hammered plan and simple.

Angulo drops you , GGG puts you to sleep.

 

How is Golovkin a slugger you genius? atsch

 

None of the aforementioned would beat Lara, Do you really see any of them outboxing or even landing something significant?
