..Then WHY do all of you Bumlovkinites have your panties up in a wad? Didn't Alvarez just do your hero a favor by vacating?

I'm gutted that I'm unlikely to see the top two MW fighters against each other.

    Surely you are too?

    classic example

you cant tell day to day what the claims are going to be

one day "canelo would get killed by Lemieux, bjs or jacbos"

the next day "canelo is one of the top two mws in the world"

stop letting belts dictate who is what....u know canelo aint a mw...u know he aint a top two mw

Because it's a ***** move to vacate rather than face your challenger?

Though I don't really care about what Canelo does anymore, he can go fight his welterweights or drag down middleweights, I'm not going to criticize him much anymore.

This is about where I'm at too. Shame really, at the time the Trout and Lara fights were a really big statement, I was very impressed because the star factor was already gaining steam and he still pushed for those fights. Then this last year has been like 180 degree turn,

I wouldn't even care if he got KTFO by GGG. If he would weigh in at a ready to go 160, without having to friggin' sit down the moment he gets off the scale, then take his best shot win or lose I would still support him after all the dust settled.

It's like Pac-JMM IV, that was a GREAT fight. Yeah Pac went to sleep but he was wrecking Juan up until that moment. I don't think any less of either of them, I'm fan of both and it's probably my favorite of all their fights

I would have preferred the fight but honestly I don't care that much. I'm happy GGG got the belt. He would have wiped the floor with Canelo and it would have done little for his legacy from the view of his haters. So, now he can quickly unify and then take on bigger challenges. Canelo is just good for the paycheck.

Nah I favour Canelo over then 3 and Golovkin.

Belts don't dictate nothing, Canelo is still champ for me right now regardless of the green belt.

Eh, maybe Canelo did us a favor. He's not the top middleweight, he fought Cotto and Khan :nut

I'd rather see GGG vs BJS anyway.

Is it possible that after such a huge pay day from the Floyd fight, that Canelo loves the thought of being a fighter rather than being a fighter! He has his followers that will love him regardless of who he fights! He makes millions every fight! Why fight tough guys that can hurt you when you can fight smaller guys that you don't need to train as hard for, that can't hurt you and you can render comatose with one shot!

    Seriously????

It's been obvious for some time now that Canelo has outgrown LMW, and is hanging onto the 155 weight only to lure the LMWs into fighting him.

I think he'd easily be a top 5 MW if he moved N officially and made a couple relevant fights there.

As it stands, unless PROVEN otherwise, Canelo is STILL the #2 MW.

And Shock....you know the Canelo haterz are simply disenfranchised GGG fans, so of course they're gonna say Jacobs, Eubank Jr, Saunders, Lemmy, and the rest would beat Canelo.

Some of us are pretty ****ed about it.

That said, at least the Ward fans who were unhappy about the GGG Ward fight not coming together don't drop semi-ret@rded statements like Dirrel's<GGG, or Zurdo would KO lil G or whatever.:think

    Sorry but NO.

Like it or not, Alvarez is THE legitimate middleweight champion. That title was EARNED in the RING - not made of paper and forked over on a silver platter...
