They aren't using it anymore because it was banned on 2016. Athletes were informed of this 3 months prior to the beginning of 2016.

  2. Agreed

But according to wada's rules that the povetkins limit was under their max limit

Whats to say takam never used it also when he fought povetkin?

  4. Meldonium can stay in the body for many months and this has been proven so whats to say when povetkins sample showed meldonium use it was not from the pre ban?

All I know is Pov failed the test. The amount found in his system could've been minute, but what he did was take it AFTER he passed a few tests which is why the fight was cancelled. They were being disingenuous with when he last took it. You can't mess around with fighters lives like that.

Everyone says it takes months to get out of your system. But as far as I know, nobody has shown research that it takes a week to months to leave the system.

You saw how Takam got tired and Povetkin still had energy? Meldonium lol

  9. What is to say takam never took it as well?

so any fighter who shows good stamina is on peds?

Never said povetkin never took meldonium before the ban and im sure many other fighters used it also since it was legal

  10. Even if Povetkin had tiny amounts of mel should wilder really made a big deal out of it? it was not like it was roids

Come on man it was a big fight and to cause a stir over just a tiny amount of Meldonium is being a wuss imo now we don't have the fight/

Was there testing for Takam Povetkin? I don't know. Maybe other athletes took it while it was legal. Now it's illegal.

Don't give no damn cheat any advantage, thats ridiculous!!!!

This isn't the same as asking for a catch weight this is serious stuff, PED stands for Performance Enhancing Drug.

Fighters on PEDS perform better than they would without them, should we let Justin Gatlin use PED's to beat Bolt, **** no!!!!!

Why have a tiny amount if it doesn't benefit you? It's not something left over in his system. He passed 3 tests in April and failed the 4th. Povetkin could've tried to take it again and try to mask it to a minute amount-AGAIN.

And Dan Rafael made it a big deal not Wilder. Wilder is not to blame in this situation. Wilder and his promoter basically didn't bid anything on the purse bid. Wilder agreed to come to Russian rather than vacate his title. He is not to blame.

  14. Maybe they used new testing methods on the 4th test who knows but even if they found a tiny amount maybe the other tests missed out on it.

Wilder imo never wanted to fight Povetkin he did because it was enforced yes i agree that povetkin sample needs more investigation but nonetheless it was not like he took roids, this was a huge fight and big one and wilder was going to get paid massive amount and to just walk away at first sight of issue is pathetic.

Wilder should of still just fought on instead of saying he will drop his belt if the wbc make him fight him.

    Both are to blame.

Wilder didn't want it. 36 fights, has fought one decent opponent. Only reason this fight was even made was because it was a mandatory. The man's resume is softer than baby poo
