N'Dam dropped his WBA to not having to fight mando GGG. Recently Quillin dropped his WBO belt for not having to fight mando Korobov, and Frampton dropped both his belts to avoid having to fight Rigo, but at least fights Santa next.

Didn't Floyd drop a couple of belts? Holmes dropped a belt. Bowe dropped a belt. Quillin dropped one. It doesn't happen a lot.

Unlike GGG who wont consider dropping weight to fight a recognizeable name and beat a cash cow, Juan Manuel Marquez at the time who was pursuing a fight with MAB responded to MAB dropping the title and said, "No problem, I can make 122 lbs!"

Btw, MAB never went back down to 122 lbs and only fought Marquez 5 years later when forced by GBP to do so in an eliminator to face Pacquiao at 130 lbs.

Canelo fought his last fights at mw, why the hell he'll drop for a guy in the same division? Now had he called IV or Manny at 160 then yes, you'd have a case. And why didn't Ward droped to 160?
