With the WBC belt off the table, Golovkin should accept 155lbs.

There is no need to compromise with the weight when you are in THE SAME WEIGHT DIVISON.

Can't you grasp that simple fact?

They are in the same weight division, you don't have to be at the full 160 limit to be a middleweight, 155 is middleweight.

It's not that I wouldn't want to see it, I'd like to watch Canelo get a savage beating but I don't see any value in it now as a fan.

Canelo is a laughing stock, Golovkin has took his soul, pride and reputation without having to throw a punch :good

In a perfect World maybe.. But in the boxing world you're wrong.

Do I have to give you examples? Really?

Right before you give examples remember these words "they are in the same weight class"

I can understand a LW and LWW having to agree a catchweight but Canelo is a middleweight, why on earth would a middleweight agree a catchweight with another middleweight?

You may not see value but I'm sure GGG, K2, Sanchez all see a lot of value in fighting Canelo.

What are you going to say when GGG agrees to fight Canelo? Let me guess, "he's doing it for the money".

I want examples of fighters in the same weight agreeing a catchweight. Same weight :think

:admin Hhmmm, living in the past once again Isal.

 The situation has changed, GGG is now the WBC champion. Therefore the Canelo weight 155lb. catch weight nonsense is

    OFF THE TABLE.

:hey If GGG/K2 entertains giving Canelo a match, purse split will be 70/30 in GGG's favor, maybe less !!!

:p GBP suggested the CHAMPION should get a 90/10 split, that sounds OK to you!!!

:D May 18th is the day Canelo's World turned UPSIDE DOWN.

Canelo & O$CAR surrendered the belt, their leverage & credibility to negotiate and any claim to being an "A SIDE".

    Hahahha your funny dude..

    Here's a couple..

2004- WBC, IBF, WBA MW Champion vs WBO MW Champion CW 157

2013- Former 2 time SWW Champion vs Current WBC, WBA SWW Champion CW 152

It happens brah.. And GGG will not be the exception. He will fight Canelo, hed be a FOOL to pass up that much money and if youb think otherwise you're the fool getting fooled by the hype.

 Idiotic posting again Isal. You are a MORON.

:rofl Once again you have proven you DON'T KNOW what you are talking about. My credentials aren't in question, your assumptions
absolutely are. Owning my own business for >30 years, supplying composite parts and assemblies WORLD WIDE to the AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY, my business sense is far better than your idiotic posts.

Pac was a moving up to welterweight, his previous fight was Diaz at lightweight. Oscar hadn't fought at 147 for 10 years so they wasn't the same weight.

Pacquiao had just beaten Hatton at 140 and it was his first fight at welterweight. They wasn't fighting in the same weight class, Pacquiao moved up. Cotto was already at welterweight.
