I don't know if the bigger ones name is jermall or jermell so I'll just call him the bigger charlo. How do you see a fight between a 6 foot middleweight who still fights at light middleweight and a stubby super middleweight who fights at caneloweight(that isn't even a weight division) going. I personally think the bigger charlo is too good for the stubby 168 lb fighter who still fights at 155 who's lead footed.

    Discuss.

Interesting but I think it has the potential to be boring. I've never seen an exciting Charo fight even when they were in against an overmatched opponent, and Canelo can't knock out anybody above 140 pounds

This one has 12 rounds written all over it and you know which way that's going on the cards

Jermall was missing a lot last night and getting tagged with flush shots-- and when he'd get hit flush, he had a tendency to freeze up which isn't a good instinct. Canelo is a more accurate puncher and has better defense, so if he's able to find his range against the bigger Jermall then I'd definitely give him the advantage in that matchup.

It could play out like other Canelo fights going to decision in which his opponents come out confidently, but once they get a taste of his sharp counters, they become reluctant to let their hands go and limit themselves mostly to weak pawing shots on the back foot and have trouble landing cleanly on the occasions when they load up do to Canelo's underrated defense. Canelo for his part will do the better work with cleaner shots and earn a decision, but perhaps throw less and Canelo haters will use that as an excuse to claim robbery. On the other hand, the fight could get complicated for Canelo if he struggles with Jermall's reach. I'd like to see more from Jermall but for now I'd give the edge to Canelo.

Personally I feel both was exposed

jermell (flat top fade) was getting his ears boxed tf off by jackson until that weird reaction from a right hand then the Charlo was trying too hard to show he had power and Jackson had the perfect game plan but ehh...

Jermall ( curly Mohawk) thought that trout was maybe over the hill and didn't have the heart to still compete at a high level due to his age...trout arguably put the beats on jermall for the last 5-6 rounds using his experience and southpaw stance to really show his class...charlo won but trout didn't lose any points for his performance imo

What I did like at the end of the fight interview if nobody caught it...trout gave Charlo props then said "smack j-rock for me!" Charlo replied "I gotchu!" lol

At 160, there are a bunch of losses waiting for Charlo. Canelo, Lemieux, Golovkin, Jacobs... hell, even Kid dipsh*t beats him. Trout gets WAY too much credit for the Cotto win. He is a one dimensional light hitting fighter that is SO DAMN LAZY bringing his punches back (well not sure if lazy or admiring his shots, either way, it's BAD)

;) I'm not sure that either Chalo can win if it goes to a decision.

 O$CAR's playing with fire though... Canelo's going to get beat.

:p Then what little payday remains meeting GGG is GONE !!!

I think Alvarez is the better boxer. Both Charlos seem to be missing something imo. They don't seem to have very much ring IQ. And they don't have any physical attributes that stand out. Very solid, ordinary fighters imo.

Canelo better have his ticket selling shoes on for that one because Charlo certainly won't sell any
