97.. 125.. that was ggg against the best mw of the world there arent enough golov****s to make ggg a ppv star
From a very reliable source that's very educated on the GG PPV bomb. Rumors are it bombed so horribly GG actual owes money of that fight. 97K was actually being very generous
From a very reliable source??? Very reliable sources are normally cited and backed up...which makes them very reliable sources.
eh...joey...actually alot of the best sources these days prefer to go unnamed....they come from the inside and often their "outing" would lead to career suicide....
So basically it's conjecture? Big Dan has lots of sources..lots of people on the inside that he talks to and associates with. His number he reported was 150K. Whose to say his isn't just as reliable as the 97K? Funny...the poster above used "rumored" and "reliable source". I don't know which number is more accurate. But I'm not going to assume one or the other based on some unnamed source
Alright reliable it a little too much unless it comes from HBO. But most trust him on GGGs PPV numbers.
Again..so you are using a number based on some guy with no named "reliable source" and based on rumors. So his number of 97k is no more reliable than the 150k reported by big Dan on ESPN who also has many sources within boxing and HBO. But yet certain people throw that number around like it's Gospel. Or use the lowest number they can to criticize GGG, but ignore that GGG has some of the highest ratings on HBO. How about take the high, take the low, and average them? I think that is most likely closer to the real number. It's still not close to Canelos number but that's not the point.
This is most likely right, but I don't rate Dan as a good source overall, his news are mostly the same news you can get from other sources.
Yes. People twist the numbers to suit their agenda, taking the highest number of the fighter they like and the lowest of the other. Personally I tend to believe ESPN, which means 150k for GGG-Lemieux, and 600k for Canelo-Khan.
MVP said it here that GGG only had 97k views and HBO never contradicted him, so we can assume that this number is the right one.
97 K is the universally recognized number even if HBO never confirmed 150K is being very generous They're both horrible either way
It was 150k +,including breaking every attendance and gate record for every venue. He could fight me in dallas stadium and break the attendance and gate record. Coccmaster and his pre teen pimples, pay no attention to her pre teen pimples that do nothing except keep spreading the same sorry ass lies on here. And if she's asked to prove any single claim of hers, she has nothing. Makes my hometown loom oathetic. She lives un RI which is known as the armpit of new England. Im embarrassed to say she lives in my area if the states. She drops the value of what is already a total dump 150k is nothing to write home about but ggg has massive worldwide fame, unlike any other fighter. Once AJ breaks into the US,market ggg and AJ will be the A side until they retire. Deal with it cackmaster and please pop those huge nasty pimples
Most sites, including the Ring, ESPN, etc. have 150k. Not disputing that it was a PPV failure though.
C'mon man. Earlier you said the guy with no named "reliable source" and "rumors" to now universally recognized? That's quite a stretch considering the "universally recognized" leader in sports says 150K and its the number that most often comes up in the "universally recognized" best search engine Google. I'm not saying 150K is a huge success. Both numbers are poor showings. But the people who quote this number could have at least a little intellectual honesty and just come out and say they really don't know and it could be somewhere in between the two numbers.
