The Lemieux from 5/7 improved a lot and most likely beats GG in a rematch

Canelo would still stop David in 6 rounds though

GBP is doing a puta job of promoting Canelo, unless you think that making him reviled across the world is "good".

Now Canelo's biggest payday is on hold indefinitely while GGG goes about his job of smashing up the rest of the MW division. Canelo may well lose to some of the better 160 guys, and if he does, goodbye to Oscar's meal ticket.

The end of 2017 could well see Golovkin with 3 successful defences under his belt and Canelo with a loss or a few "155" wins. Then Alvarez will get a taste of "A side B side" negotiations.

The way GG was scared to engage until David got tired leads many to believe GGs hiding glass.

The way that Golovkin completely outboxed Lemieux and picked him apart leads many to believe that his savage power is coupled to a superb boxing brain that will not allow him to fall victim to the strategy of a pure brawler. :yep

If he makes a serious effort to fight GGG and the fight gets made then yeah. But if he comes with 157 and 90-10 splits he can FOAD

the moment that Canelo, mr. big shot, golden goose of Golden Boy promotions get knocked out or loses decisively to any dude in 160, their goes his value as a PPV draw and the gravy train for Golden Boy.

Lemieux, Stevens, Lee and several other middleweights would give Canelo a real hard time and Canelo won't be like a dominating superstar that Golden Boy portrays him to be.

Why else does Canelo wanna fight guys like Kirkland, Khan and now reportedly Liam Smith who's not a middleweight. It's always smaller guys. Canelo is truly a bully. How can he call himself the man if he can't even fight one guy his size, like wtf.

You say "you don't **** around" Canelo but you do.

Lemieux is too strong for Canelo. El pollo can't crack an egg at 155.

Lemiuex vs Alvarez is a great fight and makes a lot of sense. Only problem is it's not PPV worthy, and Alvarez might get brutally KTFO...which would ruin the demand for a GGG fight.

I like it better as a bounceback fight after GGG vs. Alvarez.

    At 155 I favor Canelo
At 160 it's a pretty even match. Slight lean to Lemieux.
