It's up to Canelo to show he isn't a puppet and a coward.

Canelo has fought fighters 10X better than anyone on GGGs resume.

GGG has never fought a P4P fighter, a HoF, an ATG, or even a dominant champion.

I think its safe to say Canelo is no coward. And if you believe the Canelo-GGG fight will not happen, you sir/madam are a fool..

:patsch Your opinion, how would Canelos opponents fight GGG's opponents at 160 (NOT DRAINED)? Your rankings means squat, head to head comparisons are what counts, Golovkin will obliterate anybody on Canelo's resume, including Canelo himself, especially in 160.

Canelo and Oscar are idiots. They don't understand GGG. Now when Canelo doesn't have a belt, Golovkin doesn't need him that much. In order to get a fight at 157, Canelo would have to offer 50/50 split or go f4ck himself.

Alvarez had like 20lb on Cotto, Floyd, and Khan. And he was solidly outboxed by all of them, to varying degrees.

GGG would obliterate Kirkland and Angulo.

GGG would stop Trout and Lara.

    GGG would stop Alvarez.

By Canelo proponent logic, GGG would have a better resume if he dragged Tim Bradley and Danny Garcia to 160 and spark them in 2 rounds.

I say I hope GGG and Canelo end up agreeing on the terms sooner than later so we can watch them fight.

    That's what I say.

Thanks for the personal insult btw, never heard that one before. :yep

    Well lets see...

    What makes Canelo's resume strong?

Mayweather, Lara, Trout, Angulo, Kirkland, Cotto... How many of those did he drag up?

Canelo dragged up Khan, GGG dragged up Rosado. WTF is the problem again?

    :deal

He struggles against people he outweighs by 20 pounds. His Lara win is highly controversial as well. I ignore Angulo and Kirkland. Don't just add random names for the saking of adding them.

Which ATG or HOF Canelo fought and beat in his prime? Noone. His Mosley win doesn't mean more than GGG beating a Sergio Martinez right now.

Canelo dropped the belt so GBP could offer GGG a fight at 155. After Golovkin rejects it, they can say that they tried to make it happen and deflect the blame. Simple as that.
