Haye isn't the WBC world champion. He's an ageing contender on the comeback trail after a long layoff and major surgery.

Yes, his fights have been farcical mismatches but he can't win either way really - either he fights these type of opponents to build a ranking and gets slated for his level of opposition or he waltzes back in and fights top tier guys with everyone moaning he doesn't deserve to be fast tracked back to a world title shot.

Briggs last opponent was better than Haye's too. Considering he was a welterweight!

Like there aren't enough daft threads on this site already.

I'm not excusing Haye's choice of opponents, but, since his "retirement" he has had two fights. In that time Wilder has has had thirteen fights and won a world title.

This site gets worse and worse. Since I have been on here I have always expected the vast majority of posts to be trolling or just plain stupidity, but these days the stupid people are beyond the usual level of comprehension and the trolls don't even put any effort in anymore.

Agreeing with jacko and a few others here, trolling and stupidity going around so much lately which the professor had to delete quite a few threads.

Guys who fought Wilder were challenging for the wbc title so its naturally expected they are of higher calibre to Hayes opponents. Haye haters always bash him no matters what. FTA fight cards isn't going to be able to pay decently to get good opponents in full stop.

    speaking of food...

Haye would never fight the Pastry Chef!!!

    the French Pastry Chef Duhaupuss...

wouldn't fall down from a jab...

he'd be chasing Haye around the ring
all night and Haye might gass and get
    KTFO by the PastryBoy!!!

I doubt Gaye will fight Briggs either...

I'll believe it when the bell rings...

One of the major problems with the Haye situation is that every sanctioning body has placed him in their top 10 for beating a nobody and now they will rank him even higher possibly giving him a mando status for 2017. That's pure corruption.
