29 years old Mayweather- 147 pounds
29 years old Pacquiao- 130 pounds

Don't try and give the tired argument that they are the same size. It's BS.

Hello? USADA just suspended BJ Penn for admitting to IV use.

Why they don't give him a TUE?

Age 1 week Pacquiao 7 pounds.
Age 1 week Mayweather 8 pounds.

    They are the same size!

No were going by age? Point is Pac fought at welterweight for nearly 7 years. He's regarded as a welterweight, albeit a small one.

No he's not. Historically Pacquiao will be regarded as a Featherweight. Just like Duran is regarded as a Lightweight.

Personally, I consider Pac a lightweight because he's the same size as Duran, Pryor, Marquez, and Chavez. But with today's day before weigh ins you can generally drop two weight classes from where you'd have fought 30 years ago; so I guess featherweight is fair. Of course, I consider Floyd a natural welterweight, but with day before weigh ins he could have fought his whole career at lightweight the way that Pac could stay down at feather.

And what will Floyd be regarded as? And Duran was not regarded as a Lightweight, actually lightweight was his best weight, but as many fighters do, they outgrow their weight class.:deal

I know with the day before weigh in you can cut more weight than you used to.

But didn't fighters cut weight even with same day weigh ins. Obviously you can't dehydrate to the same extent, but you could easily rehydrate handful of pounds easy.

Floyd's a natural Lightweight. He didn't have to leave 135. He went up for the cash.

Typically the weight you fight at when you're 25 is you're natural class. The body is done growing then.
