The guy can't take on Lemieux or Stevens at 160, if he goes for Jacobs or Saunders he gets his house and belt taken by the big bad wolf (ggg).

There's some young lions down at 154 who could beat him if he tries to bring them up to Canelo weight, j-rock, Andrade, Charlos, Lara.

Pacs retired, Bradley may take it but that's another fighter his bringing up a weight class.

That leaves Liam smith or cotto but neither of this sell well.

I dont know, his main base might be tight enough to stick it out no matter what

but he would no longer be a big super star if he isnt careful

in all honesty i dont know who at 154 and 160 he beats in easy and dominant fashion

I pick him to beat smith and jermell in dominant fashion but then he will eventually have to make weight at 154 when it comes time for a mandatory and he can't do it anymore so he will have to vacate again, his at a deadend.

I think fighting ggg would have actually have been better for his career coz he could say he lost to the best then can fight Saunders, Jacobs, Lemieux Stevens at a more comfortable weight of 160.

Andrade or Charlo might be interesting at 154, or Lemieux, or Saunders at 160. Jacobs or GGG at 160 would probably pummel him though. You know that young welterweight Errol Spence might take a shot at 155 like Khan did. He's got good power. Thurman might jump at the chance too if the money's right.

I think a lot of fighters would jump at the chance for the canelo pay day but not sure any 147 guy could beat him he will be massive in there only guys that have a cnance tp beat canelo are guys with a great jab like GGG or slick fighters like Lara . if he has the size advantage like he did with khan he beats you

That's why I only mentioned Keith Thurman. Khan was giving Canelo a boxing lesson before he got stopped, and Thurman is Khan level without the bad chin. If he can take Canelo's power he might be able to outbox him. Also, Andrade is bigger than GGG. Dude is 6'1" and Canelo would have no size advantage there. He also looks slicker than Canelo and has a good amateur background. I think the only reason people aren't picking Andrade to beat Canelo is because the dude has been pulling prima donna **** like Ward and Mikey Garcia, refusing to fight anyone and prove how great he is. Canelo wants no part of him.

so basically canelo can't fight guys that can beat him? sounds like he'll be feasting on welterweights for rest of his career.

Thurman would lose canelo would break him down, tbh Kahn will outbox everyone if that person has no real power, andrade would be in with a shot, him, Jrock, Lara and jermall would be competitive. Andrade like you said is too inactive your spot on about that and he may find it difficult against nelson because of that .

Saunders can't make 155 and may weather is a possibility as is cotto but there's no chance canelo fights below 155 and may weather fights above 152 so that's a problem.

I think his best move would be to fight the best guys at 154.

Even if he fought good middleweight fighters at 155, he would (rightly) be criticized for facing them at a catch-weight or avoiding GGG.

Yeah canelo has really put himself in a hole coz i don't think he can make 154 anymore and won't be able to make 155 soon but he can't go up to 160 coz gennady is waiting for him like a bully after school which leaves what? Cotto maybe margarito?
