Let's get this straight about Deontay Wilder, future ATG

LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT

Wilder's last 3 defenses WERE NOT against taxi drivers and bums... they were against top 15 fighters in the WBC rankings, and as champion of the WBC that is exactly who he should be fighting... add to that the fact that one of those 3, Duahapas just KTFO your euro darling Helenius who most of you that hate Wilder were tauting as the next Mike Tyson. And the other one of those 3, Molina just KTFO Adamek who was a top contender for a long time. The 3rd fighter, Szpilka would beat most top 10 guys in the division today, I see Szpilka KTFO Whyte, Haye and most other contenders..

The fight that makes the most sense for Wilder is Pulev. Bring on Pulev.

 

If he can take on Pulev, I will start respecting him allot more, until then I will giggle like a little girl at all the anti-Wilder comments :yep

You overrate Szpilka, but have a fair point that the last 3 people were decent. If he takes on Pulev next I will be very happy.

 

Wilder has never fought anyone who is decent, just bums.............Wilder should fight Ortiz next..............

 

Molina IS a part-time boxer, full-time teacher and former cruiserweight whose claim to fame is being KO'd in 1 Rd by Arreola and almost put Wilder on the canvas and had him seriously shook.

Duhaupas is a tough hombre, but mostly punching bag and recently beat Robert Helenius. Helenius is shot, done. I was a huge Helenius fan before he destroyed his shoulder, hand, and wrist prior to the Chisora match and has been not even remotely the same since.

Szpilka is a former cruiserweight with decent to good skills, but absolutely no punch resistance. This is a guy whose been put on the canvas by D level fighters, and Mollo had him on the canvas 5-6 times between their two bouts. Jennings destroyed him prior to Wilder as well.

 

Good points..................Wilder is a bum, will continue to have voluntary defenses..............

Years ago it would've been huge news. Now, after all of the injuries to Helenius, it's really not incredibly impressive.

What a shame. Helenius WAS good.

 

Szpilka barely beat Mike Mollo, down three time in two fights.

Molina Koed in 1 TWICE. Beating a LHW corpse does not change that.

Duhaupas lost to Pianeta. Beating a cripple does not change that.
