The only reward in fighting Whyte is to increase UK profile. The comparisons on how AJ dealt with Whyte, and how Parker would deal with him would be all over media. Regarding the fight, there is all risk, no reward. Whyte is a outright slugger, only looking for an early KO with no self preservation.

Chisora would be a better fit, and even Price or Hightower.

 

I think Whyte is an awesome idea (very risky though), it will increase the amount of money the fighters will earn and Parker's exposure as no one in the UK knows who Parker is, only the boxing enthusiasts.

Parker needs to earn as much as he can as i don't see it going very well for him when he fights AJ.

Parker needs to keep building and learning, I think Whyte would beat him at this point.

Parker is useless. So is Tackam. Both are absolutely atrocious boxers.

Joshua will do Parker some serious harm.

 

Whyte has no boxing skills at all. He is a barroom brawler with horrible technique. What on earth are you talking about? Takam is useless yet he gave a tough fight to both Povetkin and Parker he won several rounds against them.

 

Tackam had the Parker fight won by the half way point. Parker was finished . All Tackam had to do was continue applying the pressure.
What did he do instead ?? He inverted into a clam shell and barely threw a punch for the following 5 rounds.
He handed the fight to Parker on a platter.

If you wear a guy down , then ease off when he is ready to be taken out - then you are completely useless in my book.

 

...or he was also spent. Taking those head shots do damage. A 12 round fight always have ebbs and flows. But sure it's easy to say from your keyboard that all Takam needed to do was xyz. I'm sure you were talking Takam up prior to this fight...

 

Tackam proved he had plenty of energy in round 12. He didn't have the heart nor the unbreakable will to win like many decent to great level fighters have. He bottled it against a guy who was offering up very little resistance.

And Parker was knackered after 5 rounds despite only plodding around the ring and throwing a few shots in spurts.

If 2 legitimate top 25 fighters are bums....you must really hate where HW boxing is at present.

 

I'm less inclined to think Parker is a threat with the level of stamina he has. I have the same opinion of Dillian Whyte, even though I like him, has a good chin, jab, can counter punch and tough mentally but his stamina just isn't good enough. Parker when having energy was easily besting Takam (like I thought) so he has potential.

 

I am pretty sure that energy situation is probably basically fixed. Like Joshua's fight with Whyte - this was a step up fight, there was a lot more than just physical going on and he's likely to come to his next fight (and successive ones) a MUCH more dangerous proposition.... again, the same as Joshua did.

These are exciting times, shame about the haters.

 

He eats left hand hooks for breakfast , lunch and diner. Eats them for free. Lucky Tackam is a pillow puffer.

Stamina is the least of Parkers problems. World level is about 4 years away. I see them withdrawing as IBF mandatory challenger.
