Jake Lamotta participating in a biopic about him is a far cry from Dempseys biggest detractors digging up dirt on his personal life. The obsession, given the intention, is in my honest opinion sick.
I agree a person of your high intellect, should start your own thread. Entitled GOL's of high intellect only, discussing nothing of substance and making a mountain out of a molehill.:hi:
If historical accuracy is a sickness, then you are immune. Oh wise one, tell me what you know of Maxine Cates. Add to the discussion, please.
Ah, she was married to Dempsey, and they divorced, those are facts something you know nothing about. When you post unsubstantiated historical fiction, implying, spinning, agenda driven, drool, like you do, a pretentious intellectual, thinking everybody is fooled by your foolishness and you pretending it's out curiosity.
It's pathetic dude Next they'll visit his body at the morgue to see for themselves how little muscle he has.
My pleasure. Here's one for you. I live in NYC and walk by the Brill Building on Broadway all the time. That as you must know housed Dempsey's Resturant. One summer day a few years ago walking home I started to talk to the concierge in front of the building, an older gentleman and I asked him if there was anything remaining from the restaurant. He said no but told me he'd been working in the building for fifty years and as a young porter on the night shift in the early seventies when the restaurant was still, there. He said at closing each night Dempsey would feed all the poor guys like him working the ghost shift. He always said he knew what it felt like to work brutal hours and be hungry and never forgot. He took such joy in sharing a story from forty years back and said Dempsey was a tall guy, still a bit scary when he wasn't smiling with huge hands and a very kind heart.
Actually, she was already married and that marriage wasn't annulled, so nice try. Play again when you know what you are talking about.
I am living in the states because I can afford it. You unfortunately had to run off to Spain because......well you get the picture. (Loser). Your constant attempts to degrade Dempsey are beyond pathetic. Only joy in life is trying to push posters buttons on a boxing forum? Pretty sad.
How is this addressing the topic? I am just inquiring if the few on here who actually do primary material research can contribute to this story. You obviously do not and want to play armchair psychologist. That is not the subject of this thread. You can start your own thread if you want to discuss my psychological profile but you are merely getting in the way here.
um, I think this is slightly off topic, don't you? I see you found your trusty dictionary/thesaurus. Let me ask you a serious question, what makes you even imagine that I would want to discuss your psychological profile?
