Bowe from the first Holyfield fight vs. Lewis from the late 90s.

    Who wins?

bowe by stoppage, maybe overall if they fought 10 times lewis would have won more times but at their peaks bowe wins.

Lewis. His style would give Bowe problems.

Lewis makes the Golota beatdown seem mild in comparison. They'd have to stretcher Bowe out the ring.

There's a reason Bowe ran like a pollo and dumped his belt rather than face Lewis.

Bowe struggled against guys with good jabs. Lewis had one of the best jabs of any HW.

Lewis would have knocked Chicken Bowe out in the later rounds.

Bowe would easily outbox Lennox and stop him around the 8th or 9th. Bowe was more fluid, better jab imo, better inside game and uppercut, power about equal. Some fireworks and scary moments for Bowe, but Lennox's chin doesn't hold up. Bowe KO 8.

Bowe didn't have a better jab than Lewis. Not late 90's Lewis, at least.

Lewis had no jab when he was meant to fight Bowe. He was out jabbed by Frank Bruno and Phil Jackson.

Riddiick had the better jab. And the better footwork , balance , technique , chin and defense.

Because that was when Lewis was at his best.

I disagree. Perhaps Bowe in 1992-1994 wins, but peak for peak Lewis would beat him. Bowe really had too many defensive liabilities to beat a peak Lewis.

I don't recall a day in his career that Bowe had a better defense than Lewis. If Lewis had been hitting Bowe the way Holyfield was, it would have been lights out.

    Could you reference some fights?
