Most trainers are idiots and tell their fighter to box defensively against Golovkin. The way to beat him is to stand your ground and fight back, just like Evander Holyfield did to Mike Tyson.

That is correct and Eubanks are not some boxing geniuses who said it first. Multiple trainers have already said that. Problem is that standing up to Golovkin is much easier in theory than in practice.

 

Bull****. there were many people who stood up to Tyson and got KO'd. Sure Holyfield was able to pull it off but Botha, Buster Mathis, Mcneely, and Tony Tubbs all got KO'd.

 

That strategy will fail as well when you feel his power.

Difficult to stand your ground when the opponent has more power than you coupled with a granite chin.

 

What a genius, that's like saying to start trading with Kov lol

 

Clearly golovkin is best when cutting of the ring. Ouma did best when standint and banging.

Sr had fight changing power, Jr does not. Jr can't beat GG, but I'd watch it and root for him.

 

Awful comparison.
1. Holyfield was a far superior boxer than Tyson. (Eubank is CLEARLY inferior to GGG)
2. Holyfield has an iron chin and Tyson SMOKED him with a few haymakers that would have downed most.
3. Tyson by that point was always looking for the 1 punch KO, lost dedication to the sport and was doing coke.
4. Tyson had already been beaten

Eubank couldn't even beat BJS, so wtf isn't he tryin for some get back? He isn't pushing to get BJS in the ring but he wants a slice of GGG???? Yeah right.

 

First of all I hope that you were talking about Eubank Jr lmao. And Tyson was shot the minute he went to jail.

You would have to have a Chin at least as equal ad Golovkin to stand up to Him....there lies the Problem not many would.!!!!
