Bellew/Makubu, Dodd/Silvio, Smith/Brizuela RBR...

Gonna get stick for this say what you want but makkuba wasnt great watching that tonite. Didnt look fit either. Yet another opponent who,s abilitys not as good as his record suggests. If he would have been any good he would be beating tony bellew.

Tbh happy for bellew. Hes annoying but he deserves it for the graft hes put in over the years etc.

 

It blows my minds that Bellew was able to do that tonight and yet he barely made a dent on a gassed Cleverly who spent the last three rounds lying on the ropes.

 

I actually think Bellew could last as a champ in the divison Iv always said it. He can stink the place out he can be boring as hell but when he boxes like that he will be hard to beat.

The cruisers arnt exactly rammed with killers I would be more worried for Bellews chances if at least 3 of the light heavys stepped up to fight him(kovalev,Stevenson and Beterbiev).

 

You have to give Bellew full credit. I've thought his spoken plenty of **** in the past and the Cleverly fight was atrocious. However he backed up everything he said prior to the fight to night. Got up off the floor and knocked out his opponent to win a world title.

You can't give anything but praise.

I'm made up for him. Great finish, well deserved especially after being wrote off by so many on here.

 

Makabu stood straight up. Completely stationary, no head movement and with a sizeable gap between his gloves. Cleverly wasn't so stupid.

 

Just a bit disappointed that he did not give Arnie Farnell abuse for wearing a Boxnation T Shirt in the corner tonight.

Gone up in my estimation though with his rant

 

Glad I layed Makubu to win on points after that first round knock down for a stress free win.
