Chino can't box well enough to be competitive, had to fight dirty to compensate for the skill level. I wouldn't fault the ref.
He is not a pure boxer, he is a pressure swarmer. Mayweather defends himself dirty, I. E. Elbows in the face, arm locks and hitting, there is a whole compilation of it. If Floyd can be dirty defensively, Chino should be allowed to be dirty offensively. All I want is fair ground.
Floyd can be rough on the inside, as should Maidana. But head butts and low blows aren't exactly the same.
I think those were delivered in frustration from the dirty fighting. Maidana even bit Floyd's glove at some point, he was so upset with the 2on1.
Yeah it's pretty hard to pick from those 49 mostly boring fights. Might be easier to pick a couple that were not that boring.:deal
I agree the Baldimor fight was the worst fight i have ever seen no other fight can compare to that POS of a fight... Maybe rungundeaux is the only other one that come to mind.
tough to narrow it down to just the three anything over 140 for floyd hasnt been the most exciting 1. Baldomir 2. Ghost 3. berto the only fights that were half decent were cotto, hatton, oscar & maidana,, you take away the 2 shots that mosley hit floyd with and that was another 'snoozefest' after all the build up and hype but at the same time even his decent fights i dont think ive watched any replays too often cant blame floyd though hes found an effective way to manipulate todays system to pot shot his way to do just enough to steal a points win,,, its upto the other fighters to find a way to stop him
mfkers think floyd is boring....and still watched ALL his fights....and even paid hard-earned cash to see his fights. That's like me saying country music sucks but still I leave the radio on the country music station. y'all just too fulla schit.
To those who respond like ^^^^^^^ I only have ONE question....... Say you are at bar drinking with your buddies that love boxing as much as you and on each corner they have a big TV showing past fights of past boxers, in one SRL fights, in another Tyson fights, in another Ali fights and on the other corner PBF fights. Which corner would YOU be standing at? If you say PBFs corner, you is a LIE!
I had a friend once (we lost touch over the years) who hated watching Tyson because of the quick knock outs. That came to my mind when I read your post. To answer your question it depends. Now lets say Tyson, Ali, and SRL are fighting people you know they can't lose to, but PBF is fighting a dude known to decapitate dudes. Even if Floyd is schooling him ala Baldomir, you can't take your eyes off of it because at any moment it could end for him.
And he became lineal champ. I think, however they are referring to the aesthetics of the competition itself.
