Josh Warrington doesn't want to fight Lee Selby because he has his wedding a week after the proposed date.

This has to be the worst excuse of all time.

In reality his team realised that Selby was going to KTFO Warrington at Elland Road and decided to pass.

Selby said he's not giving Warrington another chance. Eddie Hearn was also pushing for a summer showdown and seemed pretty annoyed with Warrington's wedding excuse when he talked about it on IFL a few weeks back. Selby's going for the winner of LSC-Frampton now. If Warrington wants a shot he's going to have to become mandatory and then he'll only make the short-end of the 25/75 purse split.

This is pure, 100% duck from Warrington. Nobody turns down a chance to fight for a world title in your home football stadium in the summer - look at the intestinal fortitude of Bellew in comparison.

Was always Eddie's plan. They'd do 20k easily at Elland Rd because of the Leeds casuals. Millennium Stadium would look awful if it was only full of 20k fans. They'd never come close to doing half the capacity.

Anyway, Selby was prepared for the fight there.
