Ruddock would have been reclining against the bottom ropes shaking his head groggily after Old George was done with him.

I have asked you the same, and I even gave you an explanation or tried to. You have come on and challenged my opinion, I even said something about dueling opinions.
You choose not to answer. I form my own opinions based on what I know about the game and what I have seen. I use the articles as a starting point.

If you want a specific answer give me a specific situation

Who states that Wills hadn't earned his right to a title shot?
    That is absurd.
On the other hand, to say anyone picking Greb to beat Wills knows jack sh*t about boxing is equally absurd.imo

Then I profoundly disagree with him. I do think Wills case during the latter part of Dempsey's reign is somewhat overstated, but to deny that he deserved a title shot is flying in the face of historical facts.

    Here's a duck !

    APRIL 5TH 1915 until 4TH JULY 1919 4 YEARS & 3 MONTHS.

    Jess Willard v Harry Wills.

I am surprised you said that, don't read into what I might've said read what I said.

IMO, Greb did more during those yrs than did Wills to earn the #1 spot, is what I might've said and I will say it again. Whether Wills deserved a shot . He has a strong case but to me he has a weaker case that he was #1 during the whole of Dempsey's reign.

After reading and viewing what I could I came to my own conclusion that Wills, wasn't ALL THAT. I couldn't understand what all the commotion was about. Wills was no Sonny Liston.

That is my point, much ado about nothing, not whether he deserved a shot or not, I don't care. I don't think I ever said he didn't deserve a shot, and even for that matter that Greb didn't deserve a shot. My argument has always been would they have been able to beat Dempsey.

I cant make it any plainer than that. My position now as of this post is:
-I believe an argument can be made for not ranking Wills the #1 guy during the whole of Dempsey's reign
    -Both Harry's deserved a shot
    -Wills was not that good
-That Dempsey would've lick both, with Wills being the easier of the two
    -From 1924-1926 Wills was fading

Then let me make it clearer for you, to me IMO, Wills had a shot at a Dempsey fight when Rickard matched him with Firpo, when the result was, let’s say underwhelming, and from the vid’s anybody that knows boxing will tell you Wills showed nothing. Wills was facing a guy who had been destroyed in two rds by Dempsey, Wills, when his turn at bat came he was more wrestler then fighter, holding and hitting Firpo.
Wills looked slow, was really what you would call a plodder, had Wills destroyed Firpo, his case would have stronger, so yes, Wills didn't make the case for a Dempsey fight and that still is my opinion.

Here's what I said you said:

To be specific he proved to be mediocre in the Firpo, and yes based on that fight he didn't earn a title shot.

I hope I cleared that up for you, I am entitled to my own opinion am I not?

    Whaaaaaaat?

What did Foreman do to deserve a shot at Tyson's title? Was it his dominant decision over the electrifying Everett Martin? The devastating stoppage of Bert Cooper who came under huge suspicion of quitting?

Foreman was fighting a list of nobodies yet here you are lapping it up.
