Lewis would have stopped Byrd. He was taller, stronger, longer, and had more power than Byrd. There's no way Byrd could have won.
how old are you? Valuev was bigger, longer and stronger than lewis, valuev beats him right? Lewis was bigger, longer, stronger and had more power than ali. No way ali could win this right?
Don't like that argument how about this. If a 3rd tier fighter like Wlad can stop Byrd that so can a 1st tier fighter like Lewis who would not only stop Byrd but beat the living **** out of Wlad"s tougher brother.
Actually he did. It's called TKO 6 and if you knew **** about boxing you would know this was a legit victory.
An old Lewis beat a prime Vitali so for me Lewis clearly proved he was the better man, not by much but still better nonetheless. You have to be an imbecile to think Byrd was better than Lewis, he clearly wasn't. Lewis had all the physical advantages, he has the better legacy and he has a clear style advantage. Lewis has twice been stopped by right hands and Byrd doesn't have the power or even the right hand, with his southpaw stance, to land that kind of decisive punch. Byrd while a skilled boxer, is never going to outpoint Lewis, is never going to KO him either. He has nothing that poses a threat to Lewis.
no he did not, he ran from a rematch with vitali like a ***** and vitali was the champ of the people that night
Lewis would, would, would... How about Ike would, would, would? His legacy is that he went neck and neck with Tua. Well, so did Rahman, Izon and Maskaev. Lewis didn't go neck and neck with Tua. He beat him by a country mile. And Ike beat Byrd who was a small heavy with no great wins on his CV. Ibeabuchi is nothing more than a big maybe and it harms Lewis' legacy not one iota that he never met him. If Kirk Johnson could spark Ike in sparring, a focussed Lewis will be just fine. As for Chris Byrd. He could have stayed a virgin and would still never have beaten Lewis. Too small and not durable enough. Doing well against a one-armed Vitali is basically his claim to legitimacy. Not enough to make Lewis - a man who, for whatever faults he had, never shied away from fighting risky fights - run for cover.
i never said that byrd was better than lewis, i was going to elaborate an answer for you, but when i did read the part " imbecile" i realised that you are nothing but an idiot without self-control when you read an answer that you can“t deal with
