Seem's like the only time Floyd isn't the A-Side, IMO. I mean, Floyd HIMSELF is asking for the fight. Now that's rare! Is boxing that dead that there isn't a fighter that can draw money apart from Floyd, that Floyd has had to poach a guy from another sport for a fight? :think
I dont understand where this fight has come from really. Was there alot of bitterness between the 2? And if so was it real or manafactured? McGregor is a fantastic MMA fighter and within the UFC has above average Boxing skills. By pro Boxer standards his skills are poor. So I dont get it, it will be the least capable opponent Floyd would of faced in well over a decade. So whats the point? Or are the part time fans going crazy for this one? Cuz im not. And im not one of these who think Floyd needs to pick a real challenge for his 50th fight, just not something this poor.
I have. Im not fully against this fight if it means something personal between the 2 of them but didnt know there was anything. Ive heard many crazy call outs over the years, didnt think this would of ever come to anything like most dont. But if they are Boxing, McGregor surely hasnt got a chance in hell. The only person i really would of liked to see Floyd face for 50 was Kel Brook but didnt expect that to happen there has been no serious talk of that. Other than that dont care who he faces for his last fight and milestone achievment. Just didnt see it being in a really poor Boxer who isnt even a Boxer.
LOTS of money for both fighters. Maybe Floyd needs a new fleet of Bugattis. Floyd seems to skirt around MMA fairly frequently which makes me think hes a bit of a fan. I will buy this PPV haha.
