Im not sure why you brought Sugar Ray Robinson into this discussion, it's supposed to be about Ali. Show some damned respect.

Seriously, when I look at his pathetic state I sometimes think it would be better if he had just died in the ring late in his career and became the boxing version of Ayrton Senna.

You know its a crying shame that even when the greatest fighter the world has ever seen is fighting for his life the alts & trolls still make disgusting posts like the above. God Bless Ali !!!

Yeah C.J. He is. That is the thing. you meet someone like him and it takes you by surprise when they are so genuine and just down to earth nice. I really enjoyed talking with him. Just hate it that I didn't have a camera. That was 1980, I think.

I guess the day has to come no one can live forever. I must admit I cried like a baby when they listed his condition as grave.. The Greatest in & out of the ring

Still not much, if any coverage by mainstream press here on east coast USA. A little blurb just popped up on ESPN.com but it hasn't changed much from yesterday. I am still hoping for the best. Maybe they just put him on the respirator to help with his breathing, not to keep him alive. The man is one of the greatest fighters of all time, he can do it. ALI, ALI, ALI!!!!!

Very sad to hear about Ali's declining health. He is truly an icon, a legend in both boxing and in life. A real hero to my generation.

I heard yesterday that he was in fair condition. Laila is tweeting advertisements. Are we sure?
