    id hate for him to be denied the credit if he beats kova. its such a bit step for ward as he has allready cleaned out and been crowned king of a very stacked division once. to then move up and beat the boogyman and king of light heavys. true greatness and he should be applauded for striving for greatness

    I never said it would be easy. Cleaning out the division completely is something Ward has to want to do. Nothing is guaranteed that far out into the future.

    I'm not a big Ward fan, but imo Ward derserved his HOF spot when cleaning out the S6 (and Dawson). If he beats Kovalev, who is without a doubt the man at LHW he should enter the ATG rankings... Haters gonna hate...

    I dunno about ATG, but the winner of Kovalev/Ward is P4P no.1.

    Ward probably wants another tune up or two, so more like 2 or 3 fights.
