The worst he got beat by was a young Steve foster jnr, he was up on the scorecards as well but got stopped late on with a body shot.

Was a boss night that,i'm pretty sure pithie was the favourite to win,he was a star amateur and was the last man ever to hold a win against naz hamed (in the ams) who was a super star at the time.

Also on the bill was michael the secret jones from speke,a big heavy called wayne llewelyn (think he boxed pele reid cant remember)jamie mckeever and ian napa.

Also got to meet earnie shavers who some how ended up shacked up with some bird from birkenhead and had a job in the town centre on the rat and parrot!

 

I don't think so lad, the last one I went to there was the Stephen Smith eliminator.
