They really should stop making these shows. It's totally lost its significance if they're doing it for every single fight. Johnny Nelson needs to fack off too
Jesus...i can't believe I made it to the end of that. So unbelievably dull. Doubt it will help sell the PPV and may actually harm figures. I have learnt however that it was my destiny to watch it. Thanks AJ.
You mean like Wlad - Fury? Fury was a mandatory challenger whose best win was Chisora up until that point. That was definitely not a PPV worthy fight. It proved to be correct as they both stunk out the arena.
I've said this already in a smilar thread, but Sky/Matchroom are doing too many of these now. This one in particular was absolutely dreadful.
This is the worst by far...AJ is beyond dull and needs to change his script. They should have s****ped this once they edited it. Can't believe they had an hour or more of "intense" filming and these are the highlights.
End of the day its Eddie catering to the casuals, and they are obviously lapping it up. I don't know of any knowledgeable boxing fans that actually rate Joshua as anything more than a media hype job with a punch, but i hear plenty of casuals proclaiming him the greatest heavyweight ever.
I can't see Joshua fighting anyone above bum level for another 12 months absolute minimum. And that's only if Haye manages to work himself into an IBF mandatory position. Povetkin and Ortiz won't even be tenuously linked (not ranked by IBF last time I checked), and listening to Fury's latest interviews, he really wants the Wilder fight after Klitschko (might have a problem getting the fight if he loses though). He has a lot of respect for Wilder and just sees Joshua as a hype job up to yet.
Povetkin and Ortiz both hold belts with other organisations so won't appear in the IBF rankings. They will probably call the Parker mandatory towards the end of the year.
AJ is incredibly mind numbing boring the mans got less personality than a battery in my Sky remote. I wish Joshua would dig a hole and bury himself that would definitely be PPV
He is actually a bit like a battery...he gets his power from chemical reactions, was charged in the past and then placed in a confined space. But then again isn't it Tyson that's on Lithium?
