I'd say Wilder's gonna stall and hope Fury wins again to set that fight up.

Is Wilder even drawing the type of viewership that would warrant a boycott, as far as US sports broadcasting goes?

I prelude this by saying I missed Arreola's last fight and heard he performed poorly, but I actually think Arreola could crack Wilder.

Arreola (at least the version I last saw) matches up better with Wilder than Stiverne.

Look at some of Arreola's youtube interviews up to his last fight. He really looks shopworn, this vicious knockout is going to end him if indeed that's the fight, it's not official yet.

Why should he be boycotted? THE WBC granted him a Voluntary defense. Personally for me I've been wanting to see that fight since before Wilder became champ, and it's better late than never for me!

No he isn't. However he shouldn't try and get a Latino bump in ratings by feasting on this corpse of a fighter. Check out Arreola's last fight dropped by the light hitting Kauffman and totally doing a chicken dance in the last round (which was scored to him LOL) completely washed up

He should just do a Scuba and take the money if he's as shot as his recent performances suggest.

Because Arreola is currently not rated by the WBC. He is rated in the 40s by Boxrec and most importantly he has looked progressively awful in six consecutive in which he is 2-4 and one of the wins was a life and death struggle with a 12-3 club fighter.
The fight is a farce. And not only does Arreola not merit the fight he could end up seriously hurt at this point. BAD FIGHT. And better options out there
