Kovalev, no discussion. More accomplished and should be ranked higher P4P. Anyone who says Golovkin is riding the hype train.
Kov has been truly challenged. It's not even a 90/10 in favor of Kov. Kov deserves 1000% hype. He's the good. GG, we don't know.
Pascal rematch was bad but Chilemba is OK in my opinion. However, you must remember that Kovalev does have problems finding people who are willing to get into the ring and fight him, because he has always inflicted huge punishment on his opponents. GGG has the same problem too, which is why both are hyped.
Why no eye test? Should we just leave it up to some algorithm? Can I rely on my eyes to tell me rigo is a better boxer than Tyson Fury? Both are undefeated with one huge notable win. How do we differentiate the two fighters? I think ggg is a better fighter than kovalev. I also think Loma beats everyone under 130. His pro resume certainly doesn't support my stance - but again sometimes the eye test matters
Lol. Yeah I said that post out of irritation toward GG'S fans. The eye test can tell you a lot about the qualities a fighter has, but when he steps up his competition that's when we see how good GGG really is. Is he as good as the eye test suggests? Idk, but we are waiting....
I disagree. I didn't put the option "BOTH" because that would be too easy for you guys. Imagine I had put that, that would be the heavily favored choice. By me putting one or the other it really forces people to use their heads and breakdown everything accordingly. Kovalev has the better Resume, so that's the obvious answer here.
