Take a big fight against a guy 1 or 2 weight classes above, who knows maybe he will still win. Its better than sitting idle not making any money in your 30's while your athletic prime is already slipping.

Sad thing for Rigo is, if the so called better fighters in his division grew a pair and took on the challenge, he would have no need to seek challenges elsewhere.

One in particular ridiculed another for ducking, then does exactly that.

    Shameful.

It's embarrassing when both the wee fella and Frampton try to claim they aren't or didn't duck Rigo.

He passed on Lomachenko. Maybe, he'll give Donaire the rematch he's been asking for.

Yeah, he is in the same situation as GGG and its not their fault, they are just that much better than the rest.

He's in a worse situation than GGG - thanks to Golovkin's style, he has HBO behind him and is managing to stay active against good (not great) opponents.

Rigo can't get anyone decent in with him and the network's don't care. His style doesn't attract fans, so he's become the ultimate high risk/no reward opponent.

He just has to hope one of the top guys from 118-126 decides, for some reason, to take him on.

Rigo should have taken the Lomochenko fight.

It's hard to feel bad for Rigo though. He put himself in this situation.

I think his fight with Agbeko was the last straw. He was given a platform to impress and, despite winning a shut-out, HBO lost a lot of viewers over the course of the main event.

When fans who originally tuned in to watch you turn the channel - opportunities are going to be hard to come by.

That generation iof Cuban pros have been such a waste.

Gamboa, Rigo and Solis could have done so much.

Luis Garcia is still young enough to make noise, but hes barely fought in recent years

I always get the feeling Cubans have bad management corrupt people and too many hangers on around them.
