Chavez and Arguello both have stellar resumes. Too close to call.

Mayweather a very distant 3rd.

Pretty sure he beat more ranked contenders, champions, and likely hof/future hof fighters. He's also consensus ranked higher than them, granted he didn't lose. He also beat four fighter who weretop 5 pfp at the time of their fights, although Mosley should've obly been bottom of the top ten. You're full of shi t.

Chavez actually has the record for beating the most title holders. Mayweather is a close second.

They say Mayweather and that was two years ago. I can't personally count it out right now. Mayweather did exist in the WBO era though, unlike Chavez.

By the way, how do you rank their resumes? And why in that order?

 

Haven't put much thought into this but my initial reaction is: Mayweather #1 by a mile, for the reasons stated above, then Chavez over Arguello by a considerable margin. Chavez and Arguello each have a ton of filler on their resumes but I rate Taylor, Rosario, Laporte, Lockridge, Roger Mayweather, etc. over Arguello's best.

 

You rank Floyd so much higher because he hasn't losses on his record or mainly because of his win over Pac?

 

I didn't take losses into account at all. Pacquiao was a very good win but DLH, Mosley, Canelo, and Cotto are too. Not to mention Chico, JMM, and all of the naturally bigger Ring ranked fighters he fought at 147 over the years.

 

Just wonder had Arguello beat Pryor once how it would've affected his resume? He had a chance to win the title it 4th weight division.

And what do you think are Arguello's 5 best wins?

 

Pryor would have been a fantastic win. Don't have a ranking of Arguello wins but I assume Boom Boom, Olivares, Ganigan, and Watt would be at or near the very top.
