In fairness Mac, the only other 3 guys to stop Andries were all naturally bigger men than Tommy Hearns.

My point is who did Hearns stop at super middle weight when he himself scaled inside its limit? Ditto Middleweight.

And I endorsed that point. I was merely responding to the mention of 175, and above.

Hearns doesn't lose power at 160 then suddenly regain it at 175 tho Mac.

Love your work Mac 90% of the time or more but i think the rating of Hearns power has gone well south of balanced. I understand you are partially catering for some giving it a bit more lustre than it may have had higher up but he still hits HARD all the way up to Cruiserweight.

Tho Schuler's chin was by no means proven concrete i thought the way Hearns decimated him showed a great deal of power. It was a one punch KO, and a big one.

Pausing Hagler for even a split second, with a punch a long way from his Sunday best is notable too. Hagler's got some chin pedigree.

Murray Sutherland was staggered across the ring at one point with a single right hand after making a successful transition to 160. He was a tough one and Hearns had him staggered a few times even if he could not finish him.

Having Andries up and down like a yoyo and on ***** street was very decent hitting.

Geraldo went in the blink of an eye.

The way he left Roldan and the effect his bombs had on him showed great power. Roldan was quote durable and rough.

Even if many of the cruiserweights he axed weren't notable fighters it doesn't mean they all had china chins either. He took the once promising Maynard out in impressive and curt fashion.

One thing i'm confident of is that he hits notably harder than Hagler at 160, even if he wasn't near as great.

    That's my take anyway :good

Hearns would dominate 90% if the fight but eventually Froch would catch him and put him away

Froch might just win late, but JFK, he would look a mess by the end.

I like Hearns in this one. I think that he could outbox Froch. Key for Hearns winning is to fight disciplined and avoid the firefights.

So, a Hearns kayo or decision or a Froch kayo or decision, then? You're sticking your neck out there a bit BowlingKid. Sure it can't be a draw, just to cover all bases..?

If he couldn't vs Iran Barkley he's not doing vs Froch. No matter how badly he's getting out boxed Froch won't stop coming, eventually Hearns will get wild and Froch will put him away

Ha, lets just say this is a near 50-50 fight just to be a little more concise.
