By the time Whitaker came along, Duran was fighting at Jr. middle/middle?. That may have a little to do with it.....
Duran was no longer a lightweight then, plain and simple. The two of them fighting was never even discussed, as Roberto was off fighting bigger guys by then. No one ducked anyone.
