You are a moron. He did come back to defend his lineal title.

I missed your two questions. Typically all you do is take quotes, then insert them when you get smacked around and act like they change known facts.:lol::lol:

Denver Ed Martin was the Coloured Champion in 1904,before Johnson kod him, he never fought him why? He never fought Johnson when he was the champion,he never fought McVey,these were the best black fighters.

Jeffries ,in his own words came back to ,"restore the honour of the white race." He was as much of a bigot as you are.
    :yep

Now is your chance to rectify matters and answer my questions.
    Namely:

1.Which promoters that can be verified offered Johnson his purse of $30,000 to defend against Langford? Don't say the names
    I've already dealt with?
2.Produce ONE verified quote from Jeffries that states he was prepared to defend his title against Jack Johnson.

It's called put up or shut up!
    You couldn't smack around a blancmange!

1 ) The press is full off offers of 100k, 50k, 30k. It doesn't matter, Johnson never wanted the fights, which he could been staged in multiple nations vs Langford, Mcvey, or Jeannette.

I have posted the headlines here many times. They make you see red.

Huge Deal McIntosh, the promoter who gave Johnson a shot vs Burns had serious offers for Johnson to fight Langford, Mcvey, and Jeannette in Austria.:deal:deal:deal

2 ) It was posted here that Jeffries post-Munore ( 1904 ) considered Johnson a title opponent for his next fight. You read it. It's not my fault your memory is as bad as it is. However, Johnson lost to Marvin Hart in 1905 and blew his chances. He dogged it the 2nd half of the fight and lost.

Jeffries can out of retirement and said he's ready to face Johnson. He was defending his lineal title, and many felt Jeffries was the real champion back then since he never lost in the ring. What fighters say and what they do after the money is up can change. If a Reno like the purse was there for Jeffires in 1905 you can not say he would not take it.

I've already dealt with the McIntosh offers ,there were two of them, that is why I said do not mention them.Suffice to say that Johnson accepted McIntosh's revised offer but when Johnson jumped bail McIntosh withdrew the offers.
ps Johnson accepted a 2 fight deal to defend against Langford and Mcvey the fights to be held in AUSTRALIA not AUSTRIA.
When Johnson became a fugitive McIntosh withdrew the offer.
This can easily be verified as Adam Pollack has all the relevant information in his two volumes on Johnson.

So now I ask AGAIN produce ONE VERIFIED OFFER OF $30,000 that was made to Johnson to defend against Langford that he turned down? Second question was produce one verified quote from Jeffries that he would be willing to defend his title against Jack Johnson?

There are literally dozens in which he stated categorically that he wouldl not under any circumstances do so, and I've posted several over and over again.

Here's another query for you,if Jim Johnson was a journeyman and given that he beat Jeannette, and drew with Langford,Jeannette ,and Mcvey.

    What does that make them?

Jeffries was defending nothing ,he was a White ex -champion coming out of retirement to try and wrest the title off of a Black man because he and his racist supporters could not stomach the fact that a Black man was the heavyweight champion!

Was Joe Louis the defending champion when he came out of retirement to challenge Ezzard Charles?
You are hysterically funny in a sad ,bigoted , Mason Dixon way.

"The heavyweight champions who followed—James Corbett, Bob Fitzsimmons, and Jim Jeffries—all held to this tradition of taking on no black challengers, even though they had all fought black boxers before they became world champion.
In 1903, Jim Jeffries was king of the heavyweights and the question of a black challenger began to be pushed by the media more and more. But the focus was on The Oxnard Bull, Sam McVey. Here Jeffries used Johnson's success against the idea of the black challenger—noting that since McVey had lost to Johnson, he couldn't be considered for a title shot. And that as Johnson was much smaller than McVey, he also couldn't be considered as a true heavyweight. It was the meandering logic of a racist at its finest."

Jeffries ducked Johnsonm, Jonsons ducked Langford, Demspey ducked Wills. It's kind of fascinating that these simple facts are so hard to admit to.

Fleischer wrote (50 Years at Ringside) that the REAL REASON why Jeffries retired was the rise of the great black hwt contenders.

Johnson had already beaten the sh*t out of Langford and he signed to fight him in a title defence only to have the offer withdrawn .Those are simple facts.

Either show a promoters' concrete $30,00 offer that Johnson refused or stop making unfounded statements you cannot prove.

In this article Joe Woodman ,Langford's manager declares he and Sam are rushing to NY to post a $10,000 bond to seal the deal for a Jack Johnson title fight.
    The reporter says this.
"Two blackmen skilled as they might be ,never have furnished a great box office attraction in the past and the future does not seem to hold much for them either".

William J Slattery San Francisco Call July11th 1910
    http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn85066387/1910-07-11/ed-1/seq-6/
Tex Rickard speculated he might put the fight on in Reno, he didn't .Woodman and Langford failed to come up with the $10,000 .It was just a publicity stunt by Woodman along the lines of him saying Langford had knocked Johnson down in their fight which was also bull sh*t.

Woodman had spread the false rumor Sam dropped Johnson. He later admitted it was a lie. Sam was so badly beaten he was taken to the hospital after the bout was concluded.

This is the first offer Johnson accepted to fight Jeannette, he signed for the fight but the boxing authorities cancelled it. its a matter of public record.

This is the second offer from the same promoters ,the McMahon brothers. The fight was to be held in Chicago, Johnson also accepted the terms for this fight but again the authorities pulled the plug on it and once again this can easily be verified.

    http://query.nytimes.com/mem/archive-free/pdf?res=9B04E4DB1630E233A25750C1A96E9C946396D6CF

Here is a piece showing that the authorities cancelled the Johnson v Jeannette title fight.

"The agreement between the McMahon brothers and the boxing commission of
the State of New York by which the recent advertised bout between Johnson
and Jeanette was called off was undoubtedly for the best interests of the
    sport."

This is dealt with in Pollack's second volume on Johnson ,The Reign.

Still waiting for those verified offers?
And a primary sourced quote from Jeffries that he would be prepared to defend his title against Johnson?
I first requested these on the 8th of this month, it's now the 13th. I'm going to keep asking for them .:yep

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Sorry, that was insulting to the horses, you're a jack@ss. The money was there, fool. Johnson played games and went elsewhere for easier marks.

In the history of the tenured heavyweight championz, Johnson avoided more top ranked contenders that ANYONE heavyweight champion in history. Don't you agree?

    Langford Duck Duck Duck

    McVey Duck Duck Duck

    Jeannette Duck Duck Duck

Gun Boat Smith, a hot fighter for a while, who TKO'd Johnson in en exhibition match. Duck Duck Duck

** No re-matches for the super middle weight O'Brien, who according to some sources outboxed Johnson in a 6 round affair, and no-rematch for Jim Battling Johnson, who got the better in a fight ruled a draw. In fact, Jim Battling got one judge's vote, Jack got none! It's plausible Jack had a hand in picking the referee who voted for a draw.**

Did I mention Jack Johnson was also floored by a super middle as champion and quit in MULTIPLE Fights, as well as being KTFO by a man who likely weighted a third super middle?

    :lol::lol::lol:
