Yo Dren...peep this ****, lmao. He just lied on my name, lmao. And he doen't care either. His feelings had to have been truly hurt by me.
I agree. It was a good win but Hernandez is better than Martinez period. Martinez was never the man of the division and is a B fighter nothing more he's not even close to HOF level as Hernandez is since he was atleast nominated.
He confused my dislike for GG and lied and said that I don't like Loma lmao... Loma is growing on me because he's getting better and better and taking on tough fights. And I don't like GG. I'm openly admitting that. But, all GG has to do is beat a live body and I could be sold. But the **** riding of GG now is incessant.
It's about perspective. 7 fights in and beating a world champion in Martinez is a huge feat. You can diminish the accomplishment by holding Roman's resume under an electron microscope but that like clutchin at straws. Floyd was 17 fights in facing Genaro for a world title. Genaro may be a better fighter than Martinez.....but At the end of the day Roman is not finished as a fighter where Hernandez was done after losing to Floyd. Nelson was also done after losing to Hernandez....he lost his last 2 fights after that loss. Martinez didn't win any lineal titles. As you already know, that's the biggest feat for any champion which is to win the title from "the man". Given the multiple titles and increased number weight classes it makes winning the lineal title that much harder. Roman isn't going to be a Tito.....or a Cotto....but Hernandez will never be a JCC or a Ricardo Lopez either. At the end of the day beating men like Martinez and Hernandez will validate a fighters status depending on how well they perform in route to the victory. Lomo is not there yet.....but the kid is well on his way and his path is not easy. He's faced very tough, solid opposition in the little time he's been pro which is why I have a high opinion of his ability and potential. I factor in not just who is on his resume up to this point in his career.....but where he is actually at in terms of his time as a professional prize foghter.
Fair post. I think it was a good win for loma. I think he can cement his legacy at 130 because there's a lot of good fighters there more so than 135.
Loma has fought very very tough fighters he fought for the title in his second fight Mayweather for example only fought someone who could fight back after his 24th bout
GGG fought far better fighters well before he even turned pro Mayweather never fought anyone decent before he turned pro
what you dont understand pimp is GGG fought very good fighters before he even turned pro who did Mayweather fight before turning pro?
Genaro was 32 and only had 1 defeat. He wasn't done. Genero just lost his passion, but i dont think that has anything to do with him being a shot fighter, which I think you're alluding to. Martinez has 3 losses and just got brutally knocked out, so if anyone should be done its Martinez.
