That is actually true. People try to divorce amateur and pros so as to say amateurs is not boxing. They are both 'boxing', but just under different constructs. One is not easier than the other. I can't wait for the pros who go for the Olympics to realise this.

In terms of winning-losing, Mayweather has more losses than Golovkin in the sport of boxing, despite having 3x less fights.

I know they're not the same size. Which is one of the many reasons that a H2H matchup against them at 130 wouldn't bode well for Loma.

Mayweather himself was a 125 lb fighter for his last 2 years as an amateur, before that he was a flyweight. So the guy isn't some huge, freak of nature Welterweight like Hearns or Griffith.

Since he made his way to 147 lbs, he's almost always been the smaller guy in the ring (sans the Marquez and Hatton fights.) He's been fighting guys that outweigh him upwards of 20 lbs on fight night for the past decade.

There's a reason FLoyd has promulgated a more defensive style since moving north several divisions. But at his natural weight class? I wouldn't favor a single fighter in boxing history against him there.

My point is Loma first 5 fights forget even 7 fights is better then Mayweathers first 24 fights.

Loma is clearly more skilled and is more of a attacking fighter

I personally already rank him higher then Mayweather.

Loma's amateur record of who he beat has no bearing on the pro game period. He refined his skills in the amateur and that's fine but who he beat is irrelevant to his pro career.:deal
I brought up GGG as to show what a double standard you have when discussing your favorite fighter. It's fine for GGG not to move up but PBF has to move up 5 weights and you still **** on him but praise GGG in another thread who's less accomplished and has taken, much less risks. That's the problem I have with GGG fans they can never be real and I'm calling them out for their double standards.

I agree with the first point. It's hard to argue any of the top fighters currently having a tougher start to their pro careers. But to be fair, Loma isn't some 18 year old kid fresh off the Olympic games. He's a fighter that had almost 400 amateur fights.

The other 2 points are baseless drivel. If you rank him higher than FLoyd Mayweather now as far as ATG rankings go, than there's no point for me to continue this conversation. You've shown your extensive lack of knowledge with that nonsensical 8 worded statement.

Little Vasyl has a better offensive ****nal than Floyd, he fights at weird angles and he shifts.. Little Vasyl would've gave Floyd his first loss at 130 :deal

I can't tell if the guy is a troll or really has a severe lack of knowledge of the sport?

I've been on this forum for so long that i cant decipher people's rhetoric anymore and whether or not they're being serious. I don't take that guy Gannicus seriously though, he's a self-indulgent narcissist that thinks he holds some incredible esoteric knowledge of the sport that other people on here can't begin to grasp. I wouldn't expect anything less from him though since he's the self-anointed poster of the year.
