Forgive my ignorance but, how many fights has Ward actually pulled out of? He has had a long lay off due to contractual disputes and had an injury that made him pull out of a fight but, before that , I can't recall fights that were postponed or cancelled because of Ward.

Ward is now saying that he needs two more fights before he fights Kovalev, doubt if that fight will ever happen.............

Roc Nation wants this fight....this year no doubt. they want on the map already!
Ward.....not sure he has the NFL mentality of facing the best to win the super bowl.

It's not like the NFL where you can blame your team. In boxing it's all YOUR fault if you lose. ANY mistake, you have to pay.

Well then boxers need the Wembleton mentality.
If you don't compete against the best every year, and win you become irrelevant.
I don't follow tennis, but if a guy won in 2012, and quit entering big tournaments for 4 years There would be a pretty huge "Show me" aditude by the media, and they would have moved on to the next big thing.

So no its not the nfl, but all other top individual sports expect the athletes to compete at a high level, and often to remain relevant.
Boxing shouldn't be held to a different standard.
No body got time 4 that marinate stuff!
