I've been watching this guy for a long time and there in no doubt in my mind that he's the best fighter at 154 and will school any fighter from Canelaweight down. From a style standpoint, I think he's all wrong for Canela. What you guys think?
Wow, the hate for Andrade runs deep here. I simply cannot fathom as to why? Cuz he was being robbed for almost 50% of his money and didn't want to fight Korobov for short dough, only to be immediately after, forced into a fight with Quillin. Also, knowing what the terms might likely be. He's not talking smack like some. Instead, he is ready willing and able to prove he's #2 from 147 to 167. He'll beat Charlo end of summer, then set his sights on Yeller. Andrade KO8 Yeller
I would go for Andrade but I just think that he's too wide with his punches and Canelo would take advantage of that and quite possibly stop him.
Who else worth a damn has he faced with a punch? The first guy with a vague hint of a punch dropped him, and don't mention Nelson he didn't have the power to hurt Grajeda who Trout of all people stopped. And ironically Nelson who was hurt frequently by Arroyo, Cuello and Grajeda was never hurt by Vanes.
Only one way to find out. But he was the first to stop Nelson, who is own for stopping undefeated prospects. Andrade vs Jermall Charlo or J Rock will tell us more about his chin
I watched his last fight again. ****oo throws real quick combos and uppercuts from range, similar to Degale. He does throw wide punches which can be a problem against a better fighter. I'd say he's a top 5 jr middle.
I'd put him Top 3 behind Lara and JRock, Canelo who knows what division he's in, but if he stays at 154 Boo Boo drops to 4th. He's far too open and that would definitely be exploited by Williams and Canelo.
I think Andrade would win but it's very close. But first he needs to rebuild himself and defeat the Charlo brothers which I think he will. Canelo will continue to duck GGG
