Prime Liston is but a mere modern day cruiserweight.

Nobody. He might've been the strongest hw champ of all time with the possible exception of Foreman.

Based on what? How do you know whether Liston is stronger than someone like Wlad, Rahman, Amir Mansour, Seth Mitchell, etc.?

Natural size, and he had bigger biceps than all of them all, despite owning a longer reach as well.

Why would "natural size" indicate strength any more than pounds of solid muscle developed through weight training? Anyway, these guys have plenty of natural size. And biceps are a small muscle--very limited indicator of overall strength.

Always loved the story when Liston picked up that St. Louis cop and threw him headfirst into a trash can...then left the scene of the brawl. Really p.o.ed the St. Louis Police Dept.....and word was sent to Liston he had better permanently leave town.

Nobody in the last ten years has looked quite as strong as Liston did hitting on (often intimidated) men 20lb lighter than he was 50 years ago.

and, on its own, bicep muscles have absolutely no baring on the improved delivery or impacted weight of effective punches at world level.
