For whatever reason my thread on Loma wass deleted....Why? Cause I'm a fan? Because I think Loma is a great example of pure boxing? Cause I compare him to Floyd, Whitaker, SRR, SRL...?

Lomachenko is actually African American. He has that Michael Jackson condition that turned him pale. His real name is Wade Lumberjack. Are you aroused yet?

No because you were race baiting.

How is it race baiting to say he doesn't fight like a typical Eastern European? Does he?

It was deleted because it will tend to render a race feud between slavs and westerners. These threads never go well, and never end peacefully. And yes any thread that brings up race I will have deleted on the spot. Loma is an excellent point scorer like most elite Eastern European ammatures, but he has that Floyd like elusiveness that gives the demographic a hard on.

My thread was not setup or written to be a race feud at all. As boxing fans it would be ridiculous if we cant notice and discuss that Loma's style is more akin to P4P Black fighters. How and why is this is a banned discussion? Mexicans can talk Mexican Style, Cubans can talk Cuban Style, others can yell Viva Peurto Rico, etc....but if you say Black Fighters its racial?

You also said you preferred Lomachenko over other white fighters because he looks up to Floyd Mayweather while others do not. So you like him because he likes Black American boxing, which it is racial. There is no Puerto Rican race, there is no Mexican race, etc, you made it an actual race issue. Black-Americans are a race.

And Loma himself said that in an interview, if those are the fighters that inspired him and thats who he based his craft off of then thats what it is. Delete a thread because it states facts? I never said I like Loma over other white fighters...I simply said he doesn't fight like a typical Eastern European fighter.

And who Loma likes has nothing to do with why I am a fan of Loma.....I Like PURE BOXING, and Loma does it very well! I am a fan of that style of fighting, it does not matter to me what race or part of the world he is from.

You could have replaced African-American boxing with American Urban slickness, and your thread might not have gotten deleted. Many will get the impression that you like Loma because he praises black boxing and adheres to it, thus making you a racist of some sort. I know you meant no wrong but this forum is already replete with race baiting trolls as it is, sometimes we have to get rid of all threads with any mention of RACE.

Guess what...he doesn't fight like a slick black American counter puncher either, which is what you were implying. Lomachenko fights like Lomachenko, he's offensively and defensively a virtuoso, he's a little bit Floyd, a little bit JJC, a little bit Calzaghe, a little bit Ward, a little bit Kovalev and a little bit Pacquiao, don't try to put him in a stylistic box.:deal

He hasn't had enough professional fights for anyone to say he is a little bit of all the people you just listed

Does this quote from Loma mean some of you are going to not like him now?

“Floyd Mayweather said the most important thing in boxing is defense,” Lomachenko said to the latimes.com. “I agree with him. I want to finish my boxing career healthy, and not get hit. The problem when you’re aggressive is that your opponent will land something on you. Mayweather, what he started doing, was work on defense to just win the bouts, not taking the chances and risks. That’s where he went .”
