This would last a few rounds similar to Izon or Oleg until Morrison gets tired and starts to trade left hooks with Tua which will end up fatal for him. I dont think Morrison gets Moorer'ed or Ruiz'ed.......both of those guys were not big punchers and Tua could hunt them down quickly with little in return. He will be aware of Morrisons early explosive power and will proceed with caution until he can drop the hammer. One thing for sure , Tuas chin WILL be checked, similar to the Mercer/Morrison affair and prime Mercer took some nasty shots and was stunned a couple of times
Glad someone said this.:good Tua was good with lateral movement, he knew about the geometry of the ring.
Tommy has nothing to his name in regard to knocking people down or out that Moorer and Ruiz don't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tua, it takes a few rounds but when it happens it's brutal I think Tommy would make him look like a clown for those rounds first few rounds tho
This is a bad matchup for Tommy. The only way I can see him prevailing is if Tua caught one of those big hooks early and got a little gun shy. This happened to him against Lewis after being shipped a big right hand early he fought pretty tentatively the rest of the way. Duva and his team were always imploring him to throw more punches in sparring. Tua by mid rounds stoppage or Tommy by 10 round decision if he spooks Tua early. Tommy would have to fight a real disciplined fight (like against Foreman) and not get into any long exchanges. I say 10 round decision because Tua carried his power late and may catch Tommy in the later rounds if it went 12.
