Ah don't worry, knocking out somebody is cathartic. Wilder will be fine, though taking a big payday hit is a hard thing to get over. This fight is basically paying for the expenses for his last camp.

 

There should be a rule is system to compensate boxers especially victims in situations like this for training, sparring, dietary expenses. To be completly out of pocket and zero compensation for no fault of your own is completly unfair.

The whole thing sucks, this was the chance for Wilder to say "look here's a guy pretty much everyone rates, let's see what I can do". Would have answered so many questions

Last I heard the Povetkin camp was gearing up to sue Wilders backside. I suspect that this depression is just the beginning for him.

Where did you hear he had a party or celebration for the fight not happening? If he wanted out of the fight all he had to do was muck up on his visa and he wouldn't have been able to go to Europe! Fight couldn't happen! That didn't happen though, he went to England to train and Pov's sample popped dirty! I just don't see how Wilder gets more flack for the fight not happening than Pov does!
