Kovalev is not as famous in the US. Sure, the Russians will attend but they have no such fans in the US like the Poles. If a Pole fights in the US, the Polish fighter feels like fighting in his homecountry. I doubt this will be the case for the KRUSHER.

Ward has only a handful of fans, he won't sell any tickets. People come to see Sergey and the question is, can he sell out the arena?

I think it will. People like to point to a single fighter when tickets/PPV sells well but it's mostly due to the match up.

 

It might end up in Vegas, and it´s though to get a sell out there. It will definitely be a hit at the box office, but PPV? Who knows.

Ward vs Krusher will sell out. Think of it like this, if PBC can sell out arenas by giving away thousands of tickets to make it seem like people care about their **** fights, HBO should have no problem making cheap tix for a fight people DO care about.

It might sell out the arena. Vegas is not far from Cali...1hr and 1/2 flight. Ward did 10k in the Bay at Oracle Arena. People from all over will come out to see it. They should've asked Lil g to be on the undercard.

The tickets for Crawford vs Postol should be the determining factor.

They are both in the same boat regarding fanbases for all 4 fighters.
