I actually wouldn't be surprised if Floyd calls himself TBE out of respect for Ali. Basically it appears that he is saying he is "The Best Ever" in terms of skills, defense, punch stats, etc... which is not the same as the "G.O.A.T" aka The Greatest of All Time. The G.O.A.T. means that you are the greatest in the eyes of the people. So in reality, he might be saying he is TBE in terms of boxing accomplishments and money generating numbers, , but recognizes that Ali is still known as the greatest in the eyes of the people!

He beat Shot Mosley, past prime Cotto, semi-shot Pacquiao (Mayweather affirms Pac was semi-shot before the fight), very past prime Oscar, Hatton who is no HOF'er and should have lost to Collazo.
Gatti is a punch bag to the elite, I prefer Oscar's performance there, Guerrero was only 'good' as a featherweight and sucked at welterweight, Ortiz is a quitter and he got sucker punched AND Ortiz is a C+ fighter.

Canelo was massively stylistically disadvantaged, he was even losing 4-1 to Khan before the KO.

Maidana drew against May in the first fight
Castillo beat Mayweather - rematches always favour the boxer
Corrales was a very good win but Corrales is not even HOF level.

No at or near prime ATG's or high-mid tier level HOF's. Underwhelming.

:nut OH Jesus Christ...... just from the last few decades, three of the fab four would've beaten Floyd like a dog. From more recent fighters, I'd pick Whitaker, Paul Williams and Vernon Forrest over Void as well. Trinidad would've at least been problematic. Floyd "Landis" Mayweather is maybe top 50-75 of all time. #1? Hahahaha, no.

And Roy jones and james toney would have beaten the fab 4 like dogs, but most people still rate them over those guys. People forget how much naturally bigger Leonard, hearns and especially haggler are compared to Floyd.

You can make excuses for any one's resumes. The fact is these guys were world champions and the best in the division when he fought them. That's all he can do. And I love how every is past prime, or shot or stylistically disadvantaged but may weather has a never-ending, infinite prime:-:)patsch
