He's not as dynamic as Lomachenko. Not as frustratingly technical as Ward. And he's not 112 pounds like Gonzalez.

What he brings to the table is excellent technical ability combined with earth shattering power. Almost unbelievable and impossible power. The type of power that allows him to knock people down while flying through the air.

He jabs, he feints, he traps, he counters, he mixes his rhythm, he destroys.

What makes him so hard to outbox is people go into their shell almost immediately because they're so worried about his power. The first semi-flush shot and the opponent then calculates in their brain that they cannot handle his power flush. So instead of trying to win the fight the opponent is in survival mode almost the entire fight. That's how damn hard he's hitting people.

He's whacking people upside the head so ****ing hard that they're not even trying to win the fight. All they do is go holy **** that hurts. And then cover up for the rest of the fight.

not yet, if he beats Ward convincingly then his case for the best will be pretty solid.

The corrupt anti-doping agency, funded by Murica will coincidentally find trace amounts of some random peptide in his system either right before or certainly after he smashes Ward up.

There is currently a conspiracy against Russian athletes by USADA and VADA for political retribution due Russia's involvement in Ukraine.

    Sharapova
    Lovchev
    Povetkin

Along with several others have already been targeted. Expect this crusade to be stepped up during the Rio Olympiad and other high profile sporting events where Russian athletes threaten to out perform their competition.

Odd how no crusade was launched against U.K. athletes when their medal count from London was the largest increase by far that a nation has produced from one Olympiad to the next.

Massive increase in medal count over a short time. Must be all those E. Indian, Bangle and Pagi uber athletes you guys are growing up.

He's not the world best fighter now. He needs more proves.

If he beats Ward and Mayweather is not fighting than Kovalev will be number 1, with Canelo, golovkin and Fury close behind.

He's by far my favorite fighter and has a tremendous skillset that is far too often underrated by GGG fanboys who think he's taking the attention away from their boy.

Cycling is the funniest/most egregious example. Not just in the olympics, but on the road as well. Went from zero heritage or history of results to the most dominant nation in a period of 5 years. All while cleaning up the sport in the process. Amazing.

Imagine if Kovalev gets Fonfara'd by Chilemba, and the Ward contract gets torn up.

I can't wait for some journalist in the future investigating this era in cycling uncovering all the high tech sophisticated detection proof doping techniques that Team Sky has been using for the last 5 years.

Wiggins was a stretch, Froome was hard to believe, now the rise of Geraint Thomas is a bridge too far. Every mother****er on that team has somehow become potential TDR winners. Dave Brailsford a big time scumbag you can literally tell it just by looking at him and I wouldn't put anything past him.

Thing is the journo everyone was relying on to do that is Dave Walsh and now they've got him on their payroll

Notice it's only the salt of the earth hard working British lads who become little Merckx's, crazy talented foreigners like Boasson Hagen and Kwiatkowski go backwards.

Yeah I noticed. Although there are a few exceptions, their main lieutenants like Kiriyenko, Porte and recently Poels are beasts, but just like with US Postol the moment they leave the team their form mysteriously falters. Henao almost ****ed up and got caught, but they fixed that real quick didn't they?:verysad

Sorry I didn't mean that patronising, like.

I'm kind of expecting Wiggins in a few years time to get absolutely hammered and lay it all out, for no real reason other than getting ****ed off with Froome's by then 5 TDF wins overshadowing his own.

I didn't take it that way, don't worry about it. I meant it like "yeah no ****".

Wiggo seems like the only one who might have a hint of guilt, it'll either be him or Porte who seems like a good guy. I bet Cav had more reasons than just being second fiddle to Wiggins for leaving the team as well.
