Whatever anyone thinks of Breazeale and his quality, he makes some fine points. AJ has had it too easy, everything put on a plate even having fighters willing to take dives for him to win belts and not even have to climb up the rankings the hard way. Let's hope this guy delievers a war even if he loses, because this no good thug has fought only one opponent who was willing to hit back and put up a fight and even then was only fighting with one arm.
I thought Joshua lost his opening London 2012 match (against a Cuban i think it was??) but knew he was going to get some home cooking. He's had it easy because the heavyweight division is very poor. Joshua could have taken a longer route to the world title with an extra few fights, but Eddies plan was to get the belt early, to then milk some pay-per-view buys off the back of Joshua being a world champion. The 1st few defenses will be against lesser opposition whilst Joshua learns on the job at world title level, as he's not completed many rounds as a pro. After that, we could see him vs Fury, White (if he develops in next 18 months or so) or another useful heavyweight. I think this latest pay-per-view won't do too well. Most people will view Breazeale as a Charles Martin mark II, an american with little amateur experience who will fall over as soon as Joshua lands. As well there's loads of football on, no ones even watching skysports at the minute anyway.
That's probably about the most you can hope for, and even that is highly unlikely. Anything can happen... miracles can happen .... no-hopers sometimes do win or put up a great fight ....... but the likely scenario is another quick ending with AJ winning by KO against a completely outclassed and inept opponent. I won't bother watching this one. I watched the AJ-Martin fight. That was only 2 months ago. No need to be watching something like that so soon.
You'll be suprised. Breazelle is a proud, all American. He's been in wars before, and he's ain't going to cheque himself in to the uk just to embarass himself like Charles Martin who sacrificed his dignity for a payday. It's easy to be on the safe side of a predication and say it's going to be an another charles martin because he's also another relatively unknown american with a simialr record. Difference is Breazeale has been in wars, is bigger than AJ so isn't going to be overawed or initimated by his roided physique and as far I'm aware isn't going to be getting paid to take a dive. So if breazeale does get knocked down, he is going to get back up, it would have to be a tko for AJ to win
Yes, it's possible that Breazeale can tough out the early troubles and make a fight of it, and it is worth hoping for if you're committed to watching the fight. But, on the available evidence, he seems to be so outclassed in terms of speed and skill and power. Even if he's tough enough to absorb the shots he might not have the ability to fight back enough to prevent a stoppage. I might well be wrong but from what I've seen he's possibly a notch below Dillian Whyte in quality.

Yes he is slow because he telegraphs his punches, does not draw back his hands to protect his head after throwing punches and is sloppy, but he has HEART and that's why I think he is capable of slugging it out for a good few rounds instead of it being a 1-2 round blow out. Should never be ppv.
