Mr. Andre Son of God Ward will dominate hard.

I'm a big fan of Ward's, but he's gonna be up against it in this fight. He hasn't been active enough to go in with a killer like Kovalev. Kovalev is heavy handed, but he's an excellent boxer puncher with excellent footwork. I'd love to see Ward win but don't see it happening. I can't envision it with what I've seen so far in his comeback.

 

Basically what I think.

Frankly I never thought he would ever fight Kovalev in the first place. Kudos to him for stepping up to the plate. I say that if he loses but manages to look good in the process, his stock will go up.

* except for the Ward winning angle. I don't dislike him, but do like Sergei.

 

I personally think Kovalev will fight a smart fight. He respect Ward enough to not act like he did vs Pascal. He will box Ward, and he if feels he hurt Ward he might go for the knock out, which I think could happen around round 8-9. Kovalev could also go down once during the fight. The only way to know for sure is when they'll both step in the ring.

I'm a huge Ward fan but he's not ready. Kovalev beats the Ward that fought Sully Barrera. I was hoping for another tune up to see if he could produce a more dynamic performance , but since he won't be you have to assume that will be the same Ward against Kovalev.
And that Ward looked very open to straight right hands.

Its just blind hope to favour Ward to win.

 

hopkins became old when he felt the power of kovalev. hopkins can still make a good fight with ward. ward is not dominating hopkins and most especially kovalev. i still even doubt ward will fight kovalev until i see them together in the ring for the first round.

Nothing is hard when it comes to Ward

 

Ward is certainly a great boxer, maybe he can move and take the sting out of Kovalev. Will need a career performance to deny the Russian.
